Timeline of Elcoline – Over Two Decades of Progress

Founded in 2002 in Varkaus, Finland, Elcoline began as a small electrical and automation service provider driven by two young entrepreneurs. Today, we are a growing international industrial service company delivering maintenance, installation, and project services across Europe. Our journey reflects a long-term commitment to innovation, customer success, and continuous development in industrial operations.

2002

Elcoline was founded in 2002, in the international industrial hub city of Varkaus, Finland. Founders were 19-year-old electrician Jere Räisänen and 21-year-old automation engineering student Jouko Juvonen – who wanted to employ themselves and their best friends. The services were electrical and automation installations.

From the very beginning, Elcoline’s goal was to develop and renew the industry, act as the primary choice for both customers and employees, both as a partner and as an employer, and aim for international growth.
