SSG Sahala’s heat exchanger business will be fully integrated into Elcoline’s Turbine and Generator Services (TGS) as of 1 June. The operations have already been run jointly since the beginning of the year, and in June the integration of legal structure and systems will be also completed.
As a result of the integration, a realane-stop shop for critical equipment will be created, covering turbines, generators and heat exchangers. The new Elcoline TGS–Sahala will hold a very strong market position, particularly in the Nordic countries.
The integration affects approximately 30 employees, who mainly work in Varkaus in heat exchanger manufacturing and modernisation projects.
The integration does not affect SSG Sahala’s maintenance customers or maintenance personnel.
