SSG Sahala to merge into Elcoline Oy – Finland’s Industrial Services unified into one company on 1 October

The industrial maintenance operations of SSG Sahala Oy will merge into Elcoline Oy on 1 October. SSG Sahala has been part of Elcoline Group since 2024; following the merger, its services will be offered under the Elcoline Oy name.

“Operating the Industrial Services Finland business under a single company strengthens customer service by providing customers with one partner that can seamlessly share expertise and resources across the organisation. The merger is another important milestone in the One Elcoline programme that we launched last year to create a unified culture and brand across the Group,” says Jere Räisänen, CEO of Elcoline Group. “We are already a company of one thousand professionals and intend to continue growing. Our goal is to reach annual revenue of EUR 250 million by 2028.”

The change to Elcoline Oy concerns the sites in Varkaus, Joensuu and Laukaa in Finland, employing together 72 people. The merger will not result in any workforce reductions. In addition to industrial maintenance services, the operations include the manufacturing of pultrusion machinery and moulds, as well as tools and spare parts.

SSG Sahala’s units in Kouvola, Kitee and Mäntyharju were merged into Elcoline Oy last year. In June this year, the company’s heat exchanger business was integrated into Elcoline’s Turbine and Generator Services (TGS) business line.

As part of the merger, SSG Sahala’s Business ID and invoicing details will change. Customers and partners have been informed of the changes directly.

Systems to be harmonised across Finnish operations

At the beginning of October, Elcoline Oy, which is responsible for the Group’s Industrial Services Finland business, will migrate to the same ERP system already used by Elcoline Group and TGS-Sahala. Operating on a shared platform will support harmonised processes and transparent reporting throughout the Group.

Elcoline AB, which serves customers from three locations in Sweden, will be integrated into the same ERP system at a later stage. “The Swedish environment is being designed to meet the specific requirements of our customer base within the defence industry. The implementation schedule will be confirmed later,” says Räisänen.
